Using Shared Folders in Dropbox

dropbox May 11, 2020

Dropbox is my go-to service for keeping both my own private files as well as hosting shared folders for both public files and individual client only files.

A feature within Dropbox is Shared Folders, which once set up by the Dropbox owner (that's you), can be used as a public repository for anyone to submit a file to you, even if they do not have Dropbox.

This feature allows anyone with an internet connection to click a link that you provide to them, then they can send you a file.

This is great process for collecting files that your clients may need to send you for review or comment.

In the comments below, tell me how you think YOU could use Shared Folders.  Or if you have an unanswered question about this, let me know that as well.

Talk soon,

Rex
